Dr Zandri Whitehead

Zandri is a small animal medicine registrar, graduating from the University of Pretoria in 2012.
In her final year, she received the Merial prize for best achievement in the clinical rotations. She completed a rotating small animal internship in 2013 and subsequently commenced her small animal medicine residency at the University of Pretoria.
Zandri obtained her South African medicine specialist degree (MMedVet) in 2018. During her residency, Zandri also completed her European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine – Companion Animal (ECVIM – CA) credentials and she is eligible for board certification after completion of the final examinations. Zandri has authored and co-authored publications in the Journal of the South African Veterinary Association, Veterinary Record Case Reports and The Veterinary Journal. Prior to moving to Adelaide, Zandri worked as a medicine specialist at Tygerberg Animal Hospital in Cape Town South Africa.
Her interests in veterinary medicine include urology, haematology, pancreatic and biliary disease. Zandri is passionate about creating fear-free veterinary visits and providing the highest level of care to her patients and pet-parents.
